Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me about my visa situation. Once again, the Lord has been gracious and good to me, and I recieved my visa on Saturday!! It took the Paraguayan Consulate one week and a day to process and send it back to me! I’m pretty sure the moment my mom handed me the envelope and I ripped it open to find my visa inside may have been one of the most thrilling and exciting moments of my whole life. This is yet another opened door from the Lord to continue on this journey He has laid before me!!
Today, I tried to purchase my tickets so I can get dates narrowed down and such, but the server is down on the site that I found the best deal on, so I’m hoping that will be up and running SOON so I can go buy them! I’m one step closer, and honestly, I’m feeling like I’m on clound 9. Ha ha!
And as exciting as it is, I also started to think about how many times I choose to see only the things that are before me. I choose not to walk in faith, as my awesome pastor so graciously pointed out by preaching from Hebrews 11 yesterday. I think I forget how often I choose to think about my circumstances and the situations I am in and how awful they are, instead of seeing my loving Father walking with me, showing me that He is doing everything for His glory and my good. And, I’m so thankful that He doesn’t drop me there. He continues to guide me in His Truth no matter how I choose to respond to Him.
He is also continuing to bring people alongside me to support and encourage me! There have been so many people from my church, my family, and dear friends that are so excited to see how God is going to work — it makes this whole thing so much more exciting! So, if you’ve been one of those supporting or encouraging me, THANK YOU!! I’m praising the Lord for the role you are playing in me going to Paraguay, and I’m so thankful that He hasn’t called me to tackle this task on my own. 🙂
Please feel free to drop me an email at email@example.com if there’s things that I can be praying for YOU about!!
